
The assembly woman aspirants for Kuwait Oti Aprabon electoral area in the Asokwa municipality Hon Princess Owusu Ansah a.k.a Obaatanpa has donated hand sanitisers and assorted personal protective equipment to fight the pandemic disease coronavirus in her electoral area and Kumasi at large.
According to her Hon Obaatanpa, “as part of her social cooperate responsibility her wish is to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, she donate an items like ,hand sanitisers, assorted personal hygiene and Protective equipment to help protect the frontliner workers fighting the spread of the coronavirus in his constituency.
Items including hand Sanitisers, buckets with fitted tap valves for quick hand washing outside before entry (Veronica Buckets) and Carbolic liquids Soaps which has rapid reactions on germs, bacterias as well as viruses, those benefited from the items were Kumasi South Hospital (Atonsu Agogo Hospital) , Aprabo Oti Trotro station and Kuwaiti taxi and trotro station.
She also donated some edible items like Rice, Oil, Biscuits, Sardines, Gari , Sugar, Milk and Indomie to some needy people in her electoral areas at the era of the lockdown where there is no selling and buying.

Hon Princess Owusu Ansah added that, “In as much as I wish I could donate to all the major towns in the electoral area”, the beneficiaries also expressed their joy and gratitude for the items supplied, particularly the sanitisers since it’s become difficult to find even if you have money to buy.
At Kumasi South Hospital , it could be recalled that the In-Charge, was overwhelmed by the kind of donation from Hon Princess Owusu Ansah.
She said, “in fact this donation has beefed up our measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic especially the Hand Sanitizers. Ever since we started this fight against the pandemic, our facility always run out of hand sanitizer and only rely on methylated spirit and carbolic soaps in disinfecting our hands and that of our clients and visitors”.
Hon Princess Owusu Ansah said, though no one has been Suspected nor confirmed of COVID-19 in her electoral area but yet prevention is better than cure,
so she urges all citizens in the electoral area to follow the instructions been given from the MOH to wash their hands and sanitize regulary.
