SKIRT AND BLOUSE TO HIT ATWIMA NWABEAGYA SOUTH ….NPP MEMBERS THREATENED

Mr Ochere Forster

Disgruntled members of Atwima Nwabiagya Youth Forum for Development and some NPP delegates in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency of the Ashanti region have vowed to vote ‘skirt and blouse’ in 2020 general elections.

The party members are discontented about the party’s Vetting committee’s decision to disqualify their preferred candidate Dr. Clement Oppong to contest the parliamentary primaries.

According to the conveyor Ochere Forster, the decision does not reflect the interest of Atwima Nwabiagya Youth Forum for Development and delegates in the constituency.

They are threatening to vote against their incumbent MP Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere if he represent the party in the 2020 general elections.

Aggrieved NPP Atwima Nwabeagya South sympathisers

The youth and party delegates clad in red bands with frustration clearly written on their faces, they vow to force Dr. Clement Oppong to go as an independent candidate, if the party allow the Incumbent Member of Parliament goes uncotest and vote “skirt and blouse”

Addressing a press conference said, the Convernor for Atwima Nwabiagya Youth Forum for Development, Mr. Ochere Foster warned the executives of the party to rescind their decision for allowing Dr. Oppong to contest the incumbent MP or else they will vote “skirt and blouse” in the 2020 general elections.

Mr Forster Ochere, therefore appealed to the National Leaders to come down in the Constituency to pick informed intelligence. How can you disqualify somebody who has been a member of the party for more than three years on the basis of being novice in the constituency? Dr Clement Oppong’s contribution in the constituency is not in doubt. His popularity is far ahead the incumbent Member of Parliament and there is no doubt he would be a product of choice should we sell both to the electorates in the Constituency.

Some of the Aggrieved Youth and delegates who to richnewsnetwork.com, hinted that, how can you allow somebody whose public utterances have been questioned?

A Member of Parliament who blatantly told a community to water the road leading to their town to reduce dust when the Community leaders requested of him to help them get their road tarred. This Community members have warned him not to come there and campaign during the election period.

This action has been replicated in so many instances in the Constituency making the MP and the Party unpopular. We reiterate that evidences abound here in the Constituency and not in Kumasi or Accra.
