Fameye finally react’s to Ogidi Brown after he took him to Antoa to end his life over an alleged $50k debt.

Fameye

The 2020 VGMA ‘Best New Artiste’, Fameye has finally dropped a subtle reaction to wild threats by his former boss, Ogidi Brown that he will end his life and that of his son if he does not pay back a supposed $50K debt he owes him.

According to Ogidi Brown in a video, he shared on his IG page yesterday, the decision to take Fameye to the Antoa deity was necessitated after the singer failed to pay the expenses he incurred during his time on the record label for close to two years.

He further emphasized that even though Fameye had come to apologize to him with some elderly people and promised that he will pay him the money but he is yet to receive any amount from the “Nothing I Get” hitmaker who just put together money and organized a mega concert dubbed ‘Family Concert’.

Even though the treats look very vile, it appears Fameye is nonchalant.

A post seen on his IG page some moments ago that looks like a subtle reaction to Ogidi Brown has him blowing his horns more.

He captions a photo of himself flaunting a tattoo he has on his hands: “Paul aa wamba nt3m”.

Fomena NPP Chairman, Akwasi Nti Resigns.

Fomena NPP Chairman Kwasi Nti

The information gathering by richnews has indicated the well known Constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Fomena in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Akwasi Nti has resigned.

According to the Chairman, he has resigned due to health complications.

His decision to resign was contained in a letter to the rank and file of the party including President Akufo-Addo.

In a letter sighted by richnews, it stated that the resignation comes as a result of doctor’s advise “to take leave of active politics”.

Being able to serve in various positions, Mr. Nti believes it is time to pave way for others to also serve the party.

“Notwithstanding my resignation, I want to give the firmest assurance that I will continue to support the party in all capacity and make it possible in consolidating the gains made since the formation of the NPP”, he wrote.

“It has been a great honour serving my people and the Great Elephant Family”, he added.

Mr Akwasi Nti joined the NPP party in 1992 as a ward youth organizer. He later rose through the ranks of ward Chairman, a constituency organizer and currently the Constituency Chairman for the party.

In the run up to the 2020 elections, there was a serious misunderstanding between party executives and Lawyer Andrew Asiamah Amoako who happens to be the Member of Parliament for the Fomena Constituency.

Aftermath of the disagreements resulted in Mr. Asiamah contesting as an independent candidate

The decision moved the leadership of the NPP from Accra to Fomena including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to appeal to him to rescind his decision so that the NPP’s selected candidate, Philip Ofori-Asante could have had an upper hand in the December 7 election.

President Akufo-Addo for instance went to the extent of impressing on the chiefs in the area to prevail on Asiamah to rescind his decision, since if he was to win, he [Akufo-Addo] could not work with him as an independent candidate but would rather work with NPP MPs.

Despite Mr Asiamah Amoako being sacked from Parliament some few months to the elections for going s an independent candidate, he won the seat.

He polled twelve thousand, eight hundred and five (12,805) votes, defeating the NPP candidate Mr Philip Ofori-Asante, who garnered ten thousand, seven hundred and ninety-eight (10,798) of the valid votes cast.

The NDC candidate Christina Ama Ranson, had 2,608 votes and another candidate Eric Appiagyei also polled One hundred and fifty-eight (158) of the total valid votes cast. The total votes cast was 26,616 with 26,369 being valid votes cast and 247 as rejected ballots.

This and many other factors we believe has forced Akwasi Nti to tender in his resignation letter to the party.

Fomena MP storms parliament; clear waves on party he is joining.

Hon Andrew Asiamah MP elect Fomena

The Member of Parliament (MP)-elect for Fomena, Andrew Asiamah, has broken his silence after he was elected as an independent representative for the constituency.

The MP, who has been at the center of controversy in the 7th Parliament, was asked to vacate his seat, upon directives by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the Speaker, after he decided to go independent following what he described as unfair treatment meted to him by the NPP.

But, following his re-election, speculations are rife that the NPP was in talks with him to join the party again, as Parliament hangs in the balance on which party will form majority.

But, speaking to the press corps, the Fomena MP said he’s already made the decision to go back to the NPP and that he believes the party has learnt lessons from previous mistakes, adding that he feels vindicated over his victory.

Mr Asiamah also rubbished claims that he’s made demands to the government before agreeing to join the party. He also described the ruling by the Speaker of Parliament as unfortunate.

NPP IS GRATEFUL FOR ELECTION VICTORY

President re-elect Nana Addo and Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), following the declaration of the results of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission today, December 9, 2020, is expressing gratitude, first of all, to the Almighty and the Ghanaian people for the peaceful conduct of the polls.

The elections, which were held across the country on Monday, December 7, 2020, have been, rightly so, been hailed across the globe, and described as the most peaceful and transparent elections in the history of the Fourth Republic.

We commend the Electoral Commission of Ghana and its commissioners for the conduct of this successful exercise even in the midst of COVID-19 thereby maintaining Ghana’s enviable reputation as the citadel of democracy on the continent of Africa and beyond.

The party is specially thankful to the Ghanaian electorates for reposing yet another confidence in our 2020 Presidential Candidate, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo by renewing his mandate for another deserving term in order to afford him the opportunity to do more for the good people of this country.

The party is also grateful to the electorates for giving the NPP majority Seats in Parliament per the declaration by the constitutionally mandated Electoral Commission, to support the President Elect to deliver on his vision for this great country.

The party again wishes to use this occasion to thank its rank and file particularly party executives and campaign team members at the National, Regional, Constituency, Electoral Area and Polling Station levels as well as all V-20 Volunteer Groups for their gallant works in achieving this feat. We indeed have every reason to celebrate this sweet victory and appreciate the grace and favors of God.

It is however important for us to recognize that the ultimate winner of the elections is the Republic of Ghana and not any particular individual or political party. So, we call on all Ghanaians particularly the supporters of the various political parties to see the outcome of the elections within this light, and not do anything to endanger the peace and security of our country.

The battle was indeed the Lord’s and it is still the Lord’s.

“GHANAIANS WANT PROGRESS, NOT A ‘DUMSOR, BACKWARD, ABYSMAL’ LEADER” – PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO

H.E Nana Addo

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says Ghanaians want a leader who will put the nation onto the path of progress and prosperity, and not one who will lead the country back to the dark days of ‘dumsor’, economic mismanagement, and the economy into a recession.

Speaking at Krobo Odumase on Monday, 23rd November 2020, as part of his 2-day tour of the Eastern Region, President Akufo-Addo stated that the Ghanaian people are tired of ‘negative propaganda’ in the politics of Ghana, and do not want leaders whose track record in office was abysmal.

“Political leaders who created an economic mess, with the worst statistics of modern times, are telling us today that they are leader we can trust? Trust, to do what? To take our economy back into dumsor?” To take our economy back into recession? To take our economy back into hyper-inflation?”

“Is that what we need? Is that the leadership of the country that we need?” the President asked, to which massive crowd at Odumase retorted “No.”

According to the President, Ghanaians “are looking for different leadership. We are looking for leadership that is going to bring progress and prosperity to Ghana, and not backwardness and false claims.”

To the gathering at the venue for the interaction, President recounted several of the policies implemented by his Government over the last four (4) years, which include Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, 1-District-1-Factory, 1-Village-1-Dam, amongst others.

“If the work is satisfactory, if you find the work has been satisfactory, what I am asking you, Mahya Krobo, to do is to give me the opportunity to do my work, and give me four more years for Nana,” he added.

His period in office, President Akufo-Addo reiterated, has also dismantled the propaganda of the National Democratic Congress that the NPP has a negative agenda against Krobos.

“Look at what is happening at Upper Manya Krobo constituency. Look at what is happening here, at Lower Manya, and the various projects and initiatives that are taking place. They say I am an Akyem man, and Akyem people we don’t like Krobo people. So, if I come to power, I am coming to harass Krobo People,” he said.

The President continued, “Has any krobo person been harassed in Akyem Abuakwa or here my period? It is all negative propaganda from people who cannot do things, and have to invent things to be able to compromise our minds. We are tired of negative propaganda in the politics of Ghana”.
