As part of effort to adhere to the safety protocols as schools have resume for academic work, the government through the Oforikrom municipal under the leadership of Hon Gloria Timma Gambrah has today hand over a 3- unit class room block for Apiadu R/C Basic school which forms part of her first day at school tour in the municipality.
Places which where visited by the MCE together with the Education director of the Municipality and the entourage as part of “My first day at School ” Include Suame M/A JHS and primary school, Suame Adadiem Primary and JHS school, Breman M/A primary etc.
Speaking to richnews.com today after the tour in a various schools, the MCE for Suame Municipality Hon John Osei Bobie Boahen expressed his satisfaction and impressed after visiting all these various schools in a preparation to curb the spread of COVID19.
He pleaded with the headmaster’s to ensure that every classroom has it own Veronica bucket
He said, as today mark the first day of the young ones coming to school so there is a need to come together with him Education Directorate to encourage them and wish them well as the beginning of the Academic year and also to ensure that all Protocols by the government and our health authorities are well adhere by the school authorities and the young ones to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also cautioned the Auto Mechanics and magazine people who are incoratching Suame Adadeem primary and JHS to vacate before they demolished the place.
He therefore urged the school Authorities to also make good use of the newly school teaching and learning materials which he just handed over to the authorities for use to boost the moral of learning as education is concern.
Meanwhile, the Education director for Suame Municipal Pastor Anthony Anyamesem-Poku also appreciated the effort of the MCE and the NPP government for such initiative and also promise MCE and the NPP government to make education very attractive to the students as the Assembly has finally handed over keys to the Education authorities of the Municipality to help improve the standard of teaching and learning.
He added that their desire is to raised the standard of education in Suame Municipal. In a way to do that, they have introduce Zoom learning and WhatsApp teaching and learning to catch up with the global change and boost the confidence of the students.
Pastor Anthony Anyamesem-Poku said, Suame Municipal Education Directorate has map a strategy to used Suame Magazine as a laboratory for technical students so that it will benefit the community.
He also expressed worried over the encroachment of Suame Adadeem Primary and JHS by the Auto electricians and plead with them to vacate from the compound before they face their wrath.
